Kabini - Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park, the Kabini is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. Evening either take canter/jeep safari (at additional cost) or visit Kabini dam or spend evening at the beautiful resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at Kabini. Today morning take canter/jeep safari to Nagarhole National Park or Boat safari (additional cost). The Park has rich forest cover, small streams, hills, valleys and waterfalls and also has a healthy predator-prey ratio, with many tigers, Indian bison and elephants. This park was declared the thirty seventh Project Tiger tiger reserve in 1999. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Enjoy a coracle ride in Kabini River. It’s a traditional round shaped boat called a coracle. The design of the boat is unique to the rivers of Southern India (a must do experience)Lunch in the afternoon.Dinner & Overnight stay at Kabini.
Safari Information :
The park is usually open from 6:45 AM - 8:45 AM in the morning and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the evening. The timings for safari are 06:30 AM- 9.15 AM in the morning and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the evening.
